Arpe revolutionizes the market incorporating recycled fabrics in its products
The company Arpe Barcelona, specialized in manufacturing, customizing and designing all kind of microfiber promotional items, has got ahead of their competition and has developed a new microfiber fabric made of post-consume plastic bottles thread and recycled polyester fibers. This new fabric is an evolution of the one which has been used so far.
This new fabric maintains the same structure but it’s composition is going to be 100% Polyester and of course, Oeko-Tex certified. With this new material, a better color fastness and brighter colors are reached. For the time being, all towels and cushions in digital printing will be manufactured with this material.
With this new material we develop environmentally respectful products without losing quality. In energetic consumption terms, water and CO2 emissions, the production of this recycled thread has a lower environmental impact in comparison with the conventional one.
In the strategic company plan “Ready for the coming future 2017-2020”, developing more sustainable products and also incorporate the Eco-design and circular economy in all the company are the main targets. Arpe is one of the 207 European selected companies for the SME Instrument Program (Horizon 2020) to encourage the product, services or innovative processes ideas.
